A
1 cup of castor sugar
1 cup of cocoa powder
1 cup of fresh dairy milk
1 cup of vegetable oil (i use mazola corn oil)
1 cup of condensed milk
All dissolved in a pot over low heat. Set aside when everything is well dissolved. Need not to simmer. Set aside.
Meanwhile, heat up the steamer pot over medium heat. Preheat a lined 9" greased baking tin as well.
B
4 grade A eggs
3/4 cup of plain flour
1 tsp of baking powder
1 tsp of sodium bicarbonate
Sift plain flour together with the baking powder and sodium bicarbonate.
Beat eggs at high speed till light and fluffy. At medium speed, gradually add in the flour till well mixed.
Pour in A into B mixture. Fold well. Pour batter into the greased baking tin.
Steam it for 35 to 45 minutes. Insert a cake tester into the middle of cake, if it comes out clean, it is done!
Chocolate ganache
300g whipping cream
600g cooking chocolate (chopped to small pieces)
1 tbsp butter
1/2 cup condensed milk
Heats up whipping cream till almost simmer. Pour into cooking chocolate, add in butter and condensed milk. Mix well.
Another method is double boiling technique where you mix all ingredients and till chocolate is well melted. Set aside.
Let cake cool off, then spread over chocolate ganache on the cake... ready to be served!
